Getting Internet Results
No one likes it when they leave a telephone
message and don't get a call back. Unfortunately, similar frustration occurs
every day on the internet. Have you ever emailed someone or some website and
never gotten a response? Even worse, did you just get an automatically
generated form letter (email autoresponder) that didn't come close to
answering the question?
If you are like most internet users the answer
is a resounding YES. And, also yes, it is extremely frustrating, particularly
if you are trying to locate a home to buy or someone to sell your home.
Realtors, it seems, are among the world's worst at answering email or
providing useful information if they do.
So, what's the solution? Try the "golden
rule". That's right, do unto others. . . . Be sure you answer your own
email and provide complete and adequate information when you make your
original request. Every day, we get email requests from people who don't even
provide a name or a shred of detail as to their needs (for example: "I
need a 3/2 in Spring, J.T."). Who is J.T.? What price range? How big? To
buy, rent? When? etc. How could anyone respond to such a vague request?
Yes, there are Realtors out there that actually
respond to email and provide useful data. Blakeman Properties is one of those
Realtors. Give us a try. But, you must "help us to help you" by
providing all the details and then responding back after you have received
your answer.
And don't forget, we get paid on commission
when you buy or sell. So, if you like our prompt and useful internet help it
would be really nice if you also used our services to complete the purchase or
sale. That way we get paid. We are happy to provide data and assistance but
working totally for free isn't as much fun as you might think.
